Description
Looks like model assumes tree species decline because of reduced precipitation whereas this is a floodplain and is not directly tied to precipitation levels. I doubt Py would ever be present on this site and would have made it a E5 species. Act may persist and do fine on this site if water table levels are maintained. I dont think Ep occurs in the IDFxh1.

Research direction
Start by locating the IDFxh1/Fm01 Cottonwood–Snowberry–Rose model rules and the species feasibility data they use. Review how precipitation, floodplain water-table conditions, and the Py, Act, and Ep assumptions are represented. Done should mean the maintainers agree on and record the corrected ecological assumptions.
