Description

101 on gentle slopes, level areas and steep cool aspects. Fd and Py are similar in terms of decline over time. I would expect Py to be better than Fd if conditions get drier and hotter so I am unsure why they have similar trajectories over time. Fd would likely differentiate out more on steep cool aspects - it is more shade-tolerant than Py. I do not understand why Lw and Pl show any suitability over time on this site series. It implies that the climate is getting milder and moister as neither species would be expected to occur on this sites series under past and current climate conditions.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reviewing the IDFxh1/101 outputs for gentle slopes, level areas, and steep cool aspects, comparing the Fd/Py and Lw/Pl suitability trajectories with the expectations described in the issue. Done means the differing trajectories are explained or the underlying issue is identified and documented.
