Description
Increasing Pl feasibility in the Northern Rocky Mountain Trench, SBSvk (near McBride). In all surrounding zones Pl feasibility is projected to decline. E.g. declining Pl feasibility directly to the south, SBSdh1, valley bottom, Valemount region. Pl feasibility is lost at higher elevation, e.g. ESSFwc3, as climate becomes wetter and snowier.
Change in Pl feasibility on C4 sites:

**SBSvk1 – increasing Pl feasibility**

Starts at E3, but climatically already is a E2/E1 (feasibility is maintained, not increasing)

ICHmw3 (NW of Revelstoke) site series projected, Pl = E2 / E1

Just south of SBSvk1 = **SBSdh1** (valley bottom) – Pl feasibility declining
From E1 to E2

**BGC projections for both areas are in alignment – Similar BGC futures are projected, E2 feasibility for Pl projected.
Climate models = warmer, wetter and snowier
Species Suitability Ranking – On zonal sites E3 in northern section (SBSvk) and E1 directly south (SBSdh). Northern Rocky Mountain Trench near McBride. To review.**

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by comparing the SBSvk1 and SBSdh1 feasibility projections with the cited BGC and species-suitability results; done means determining whether the discrepancy is confirmed and recording the review outcome.
