Description
Subhygric sites with some seepage and imperfectly drained soils. Mixed canopies of Sx, Cw, Fd, and Bl. Pl sometimes abundant in seral stands. Cw usually occurs at lower elevations - Fd and Pl also but not as consistently. Probably reflects stand fires. Bl and Sx are common at all elevations.
Modelled suitability shows Cw increases over time in good suitability and overall suitability remains high at bout 85%. Sx shows decline from 90% to 65% Fd shows slight decline from 55% to 50%, Bl shows sharp decline whereas Lw shows moderate suitability at about 35%. Pl shows strong decline from about 55% down to 30%, Hw increases from about 30% to 70% suggesting climate will become moister and warmer.
Again, model seems to be consistent if climate generally becomes milder and moister. I am not sure why Lw does not have higher feasibility similar to Fd.

Research direction
The issue contains habitat notes and modelled suitability observations but names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the Oak fern – Bunchberry data or model output and compare the Lw feasibility result with the stated Fd result. Done would require a documented explanation or confirmed correction, but the issue does not define which.
Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
