Description

Expansion of Hw feasibility into the **CDFmm**, on southeast Vancouver Island and lower mainland. This area is projected to become warmer and drier. Would not expect Hw to become more feasible.

Shift to CWHxm_WA
Artefact of novel climate
Other artefacts of this projection: increasing feasibility of Cw (we already see decline of Cw in this area), Arbutus becomes not feasible

Research direction

Start by reviewing the three attached projection images and the reported Hw, Cw, and Arbutus feasibility changes across the CDFmm. Compare the projected shift toward CWHxm_WA with the stated warming and drying conditions; done means determining whether these results are projection artefacts and documenting the conclusion.
