Description
Level sites and gentle slopes. Open stands of Se and Bl with sparse to abundant Pl.
Model shows decline from good to moderate for Pl but overall stays quite high. Bl shows moderate decline to 60% and Sx shows moderate deceline to about 55%, Fd shows increasing suitability to about 70% and Lw to about 55%. Other species including Bg Hw Ba etc. and other coast transition species show low moderate suitability around 10-20%.
Modelling seems good - Fd is a high risk particularly on level to gentle sites where cold air accumulates and frost risk is high so it will likely require protection. Overall Pl, Se and Bl are still probably the best options. Coast transition species likely showing up given models have ESSFmw. These species are high risk.
