Description
Very wet forests with water table at or near the surface. Sx is usually the dominant tree species with some Pl and Bl.
Model shows Sx maintaining itself over time but sharp deceline for Pl and moderate decline for Bl. Fd Cw and Bg all show increase over time but none of these species are likely on a water-logged site like the 112 unit. I would expect Sx to be the only consistent species that persists on this kind of a site. Lots of uncertainty as to what will happen to the water table and available soil moisture in the future.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is identified; begin by locating the model data and species-feasibility review for unit 112, Horsetail (Sx). Compare the projections with the described waterlogged-site expectations, and consider the work complete when the discrepancy is explained and the model or review data reflects the agreed species outcome.
