IDFxh2/104 FdPy - Rough fescue - BBWG

Forested areas adjacent to open grasslands (probably on slightly shallow soils). Open forest dominated by Fd with minor Py. Understorey dominated by rough fescue. Both Py and Fd are similar in terms of modelled feasibility. Yet Py is uncommon to begin with. I suspect Py would not increase on this site with increase warmer and drier climate because it is less shade-tolerant than Fd and would not likely become well established on most 104 sites. These sites are too dry to support Lw and Pl even though they have modelled feasibility of about 20-30%.
