Documentation issue: Build Tutorial - C

Please consider adding to the CPP tutorial how to quickly change the compiler and flags handed to the compiler. This is a common enough operation (enabling/disabling warnings, specifying C++ revision, choosing Clang vs GCC) that it should be documented in the intro tutorial. Ideally it should include how to make one-off local changes and how to change the defaults for the project.
