Keyboard link shortcuts not working with other keyboard layouts than English

Description
When writing in Greek and when I need to add a link I need to change to English and back.
##### Steps to Reproduce
1. Switch to a non-English alphabet language (Greek in my case)
2. Select text
3. `Ctrl+K` with intent to make a link
Bellow a screencast of doing the above first with the English keyboard layout selected (working example) and then with the Greek keyboard layout selected (failing example)
