Description
iPad issue with set exact cursor-position and BACKSPACE-key
If I enter a https://trix-editor.org with an ipad and click on the word basecamp -> the cursor jumps to the end of the word. Set the cursor by long-pressing-magnifyer on the word basecamp between e and c, the cursor blink at that position.
1. I press BACKSPACE the last letter of basecamp the p will be deleted. Why not the e from base?
2. I press -, I get base-camp. I press backspace and the - will be deleted again. Everything works correct!
Is it an bug or an option? And if it's an option, can I deactivate it and how?
Thanks Claus-Christian Ude
PS: And many thanks for your great work!
Here an gif-animation with a small movie about it:

Research direction
Reproduce the cursor-placement and Backspace behavior described in the issue on the Trix editor website using iPad Safari, referring to the attached GIF and the listed browser details. Trace the editor's touch cursor and deletion behavior, then verify that Backspace deletes the character immediately before the cursor or that the intended option is clearly identified.
