Description
[shields.io](http://shields.io) provides nice little badges useful for open source projects. One of the badges is a count of open issues for a github project. It would also be nice if one were available showing the count of rt.cpan.org tickets for a CPAN project.
@obra, does rt.cpan.org have an API making querying the count of open tickets? What is @CPAN-API using?
