Can you make Github releases or git tags corresponding to released versions?

Hi, thanks for this project. It's currently hard to find the git commit associated with a released version in the [CHANGELOG](https://github.com/backstage/mkdocs-monorepo-plugin/blob/master/docs/CHANGELOG.md) if I want to look at source. Can you create Github releases or at least git tags corresponding to the versions? I think it will make going from a version to source a lot easier. Thanks!
