Interoperability with similar todo in markdown projects?

There's a few other projects also working with tasks in markdown. We're starting a small effort hoping to achieve interoperability between them, to have something of a [todo.txt](http://todotxt.org) like format for markdown.

Would it be crazy to include your project in this effort?

Start by reviewing the project's existing GitHub Project Board ↔ Todo Markdown synchronization behavior and the todo.txt format linked in the issue. Determine whether the project should participate and what interoperability scope and compatibility criteria would need agreement before implementation.
