Description
Just hopped wagon from the python world, UV a amazing suite of tools for python project management uses cargo dist for their packages. I was just wondering if you guys are open to PRs to add progress bar in the shell / wget installers. I know it's a small tweak but visually meaningful.

Thanks, I hope to work on this over the weekend. Cheers.

Research direction
The issue points to shell and wget installer templates but names no files or tests. Start by locating those templates and compare the current installer output with the linked UV example; done means the generated installers visibly include a progress bar and the relevant checks pass.
