Description

In [Scott Meesseman's task explorer](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/publishers/spmeesseman), there is a little run icon and you have to click the run icon to run the task. I kinda like the design but sadly he stopped updating. Is it possible to bring it back?

Also there is a little menu that allows you to run with arguments, open the file etc.
I wish you could consider adding them back or make it optional.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by comparing the current task controls with the linked Task Explorer design and determine the scope of the run icon, argument menu, file actions, and optional behavior; done means the requested controls work consistently without disrupting existing task execution.
