Project status: unmaintained (?)

As the title implies, I was wondering if this software is still maintained/updated, since that the [latest release](https://github.com/awslabs/git-secrets/releases/tag/1.3.0) was made more than 6y ago.

I think I already know the answer, but I'd rather prefer to get something "official".
