Description
The weekly compatibility canary failed building/testing the Hibernate adapter against the latest released Hibernate ORM.
This is an early warning that an upcoming Hibernate ORM version introduces a breaking change (API/class relocation, removed method, etc.) before a customer hits it. See the failing run for the exact error:
https://github.com/awslabs/aurora-dsql-orms/actions/runs/32000969994
Stable releases are unaffected — the supported pinned version still builds. Resolve by updating the adapter for the new Hibernate ORM version, then this issue can be closed (the canary will reopen it if the break recurs).

Research direction
Start with the failing GitHub Actions run 32000969994 and inspect its build and test output for the exact Hibernate ORM compatibility error. Trace that error into the Hibernate adapter and update it for the latest released Hibernate ORM version. Done means the compatibility canary builds and tests successfully against that version while the pinned stable version remains unaffected.
