Description
On Windows WSL when trying to login I go to the link (for a business account) presented in the popup and type in the code there in the browser. However I get an error the code is invalid.
I have a hunch that it might be due to a region mismatch. Because the plugin does not ask the region I assume it defaults to us-east-1, but that is not my region. So I guess the plugin registers the code at the wrong backend.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the login flow on Windows WSL with an AWS business account and a non-us-east-1 region, then inspect how the plugin selects the region and registers the authentication code. Done means the browser accepts the code and login completes for the user's region.
