Research direction
Start with the README.md setup instructions and the /aidlc --doctor and /aidlc entry points, then trace the Ideation step for intent-statement.md and its PreToolUse handling. Reproduce the flow with GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.83 on the reported environment. Done means a manually saved intent-statement.md is recognized and the PreToolUse error no longer blocks progress.
