aws-cloudwatch-metrics pod periodically restarting

After deploying this helm chart in our environment, we are seeing pod restarts about 1x per week. The logs show the following error:
`fatal error: concurrent map iteration and map write`

Unknown.

**Expected outcome**
No unexpected pod restarts.

**Environment**

* Chart name: aws-cloudwatch-metrics
* Chart version: 0.0.9
* Kubernetes version: v1.28.3-eks-4f4795d
* Using EKS (yes/no), if so version? yes, 1.28
