`fatal error: concurrent map iteration and map write`
**Steps to reproduce**
Unknown.
**Expected outcome**
No unexpected pod restarts.
**Environment**
* Chart name: aws-cloudwatch-metrics
* Chart version: 0.0.9
* Kubernetes version: v1.28.3-eks-4f4795d
* Using EKS (yes/no), if so version? yes, 1.28

Research direction
Begin with the aws-cloudwatch-metrics Helm chart at version 0.0.9 and the pod logs containing “concurrent map iteration and map write.” Compare behavior on Kubernetes v1.28 in EKS 1.28, since no reproduction steps are provided. Done means identifying the cause of the unexpected restart and verifying that the pod remains running.
