What do you want us to build?

Automatically export Kubernetes Events to CloudWatch

EKS

**Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard?**
What outcome are you trying to achieve, ultimately, and why is it hard/impossible to do right now? What is the impact of not having this problem solved? The more details you can provide, the better we'll be able to understand and solve the problem.

Events are only kept for 60 minutes because of the cost to etcd to extend that retention.
It would be nice if EKS could export this data similar to control plane logs automatically. CloudWatch Logs is the obvious destination currently but if they could be exported elsewhere, this would be useful as well.

How are you currently solving this problem?

Using an Open source tool that hasn't been fully reliable to export to logs, which then exports into our logging system.
