## Steps to reproduce the issue
Try to open a previous chat from a day earlier, nothing will happen... Try to export the history of a chat and it will let you select a location for the md file and then say that it failed.

## System details (run `AWS: About` and/or `Amazon Q: About`)
VSCode

Reproduce the failure in VSCode by reopening a chat from the previous day and exporting a chat history as an MD file. Start from the Amazon Q chat history entry points and use the AWS: About or Amazon Q: About system details if needed. Done means previous chats reopen and history exports successfully without a failure message.
