When switching profiles, the new profile name is displayed but the connection is still to the old profile

## Problem

When switching between profiles in Explorer tab, the resources do not update to the new profile, despite the new profile name being shown. currently I need to close and reopen the vscode every time I want to switch profiles.

The feature used to work, until recently.

## Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to Explorer tab
2. Click on the profile (where it says for example - "Connected with profile:default") and choose some other profile
3. See that all resources stay the same

## Expected behavior

All resources should update (s3 buckets should change, cloudwatch logs, lambdas, etc..)

## System details (run `AWS: About` and/or `Amazon Q: About`)

- OS: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
- Visual Studio Code version: 1.98.2
- AWS Toolkit version: 3.53.0
- Amazon Q version:

Start in the VS Code Explorer tab and follow the profile selector flow described in the reproduction steps. Verify whether switching profiles refreshes the S3, CloudWatch Logs, and Lambda resources while the displayed profile name changes; done means all Explorer resources reflect the newly selected profile without restarting VS Code.
