## Question
We would like to use AWS Toolkit for VS Code to query Redshift (as described in [https://docs.aws.amazon.com/toolkit-for-vscode/latest/userguide/redshift-overview.html ](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/toolkit-for-vscode/latest/userguide/redshift-overview.html)). Is there a way to join RS Group when connecting to the server? All our access control is based on groups, so without joining a group they can only see public objects

Research direction
Start with the Redshift overview linked in the issue and inspect how AWS Toolkit for VS Code connects to Redshift servers. Determine whether joining an RS group is supported or what connection change would be required; done means access-controlled group objects are visible when connecting.
