Description

Hi!

It looks like that Amazon Q for Visual Studio 2022 does not include support for customizations, but Amazon Q plug-ins for other IDEs do. I wonder whether this functionality is planned or not, since the ability to use a fine-tuned model that has implicit knowledge of already existing code is quite appealing.

Thank you.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how Amazon Q for Visual Studio 2022 currently handles customizations and compare that capability with Amazon Q plug-ins for other IDEs. Done would mean an agreed implementation path and support for using a fine-tuned model with existing-code knowledge in the Visual Studio 2022 extension.
