Announcement: End-of-Support as of December 31, 2025

The AWS SDK for Java v1 has reached **end-of-support** as of December 31, 2025.

The SDK will no longer receive updates or releases. Previously published releases will continue to be available via Maven and the code will remain on GitHub. For additional information about the end-of-support, please refer to the [announcement](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/developer/announcing-end-of-support-for-aws-sdk-for-java-v1-x-on-december-31-2025/) made on January 2024.

We recommend that you migrate to [AWS SDK for Java v2](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-java/latest/developer-guide/home.html).
