Appsync one click deployment from dev to prod environment like API gateway

Hi,
I need to know that as we deploy out API gateway APIs to prod or any other environment by simply deploy -> create new stage -> deploy by aws console.

Similarly can we deploy our Appsync APIs to another stage via console or CLI? we don't have any option in the console, may be there is some CLI command for that without replicating complete Appsync APIs with all resources like schema, resolvers / datasources and functions.

Can we have this feature in near future?

Start by checking whether AWS AppSync supports deploying an existing API to another stage through the console or CLI without recreating its schema, resolvers, data sources, and functions. Done would require a defined, supported one-click or CLI deployment path.
