Description
I'm hoping to use the HTTP Resolver to connect to an API, but that API requires IP whitelisting. Any information on how the resolver makes outbound connections? Can I route them through a VPC like in this example of routing Lambda requests that way?

Thanks!

Research direction
Start with the HTTP Resolver behavior described in the issue and review the two linked AWS Lambda networking examples. Determine whether outbound connections can use a VPC or static IP for IP whitelisting, then document the supported configuration or the limitation and its alternatives.
