Sage maker studio code editor image selection not respected

### Issue Description

I have a code editor session where i tried loading a custom image.
I have since removed the custom image from my domain and when i try loading the session i select the latest default sagemaker image. however sagemaker start up fails saying it cant find the app config for the image which i've removed from my domain (and isnt the image shown in the drop down)

### Expected Behavior

sagemaker should look for the app config of the image selected in the dropdown.

### Observed Behavior

sagemaker remember some details of the previous image hwich i've removed from my domain and tries to laod this.
