filename dropdown disappear too soon

macOS 26.1.0 (25B78)

### Expected behaviour

While autocomplete dropdown appears, it should last till I can use up/down arrow to pick one option

### Actual behaviour

In a folder where there are many python scripts whose names strat with `check`, when I type `./check`, the files listed as a dropdown but disappears in too short a period for me to use up/down arrow to pick one to execute.
