[Bug] `/editor` freezes when pasting large amount of text

### Operating system

macOS 15.3.2 (24D81)

### Expected behaviour

Text should be pasted instantly or there's some warning message. At least it shouldn't hang.

### Actual behaviour

Freezes and unresponsive.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1342/1342-h/1342-h.htm
2. Copy large amount of text
3. `/editor` and paste
