Description
Just curious -- I'm sure it's a decent chunk of work but I have a usecase for this, and if I'm capable of implementing it, I may give it a shot.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Amazon DocumentDB JDBC driver's existing SQL query and connection support, then identify the JDBC entry points involved in write operations. Done would require a defined scope for write support, an implementation plan, and validation that supported write statements work through the driver.
