Safari ios and service worker

Are you sure the service worker example still works?

I cloned the repo and tried on my ios safari (ios 17), never been able to lower the lantency under 20sc.

And, following the documentation for IVS online for setting up a service worker myself, never been able to lower the latency too.

This thing just seems broken.

Start with the service worker example and reproduce the reported latency on iOS Safari 17, then compare it with the IVS service-worker setup described in the documentation. Done means determining whether the example is broken and documenting or correcting the cause of latency above 20 seconds.
