Stuck on 'Fetching access logs'

I've been trying to pull access logs for this site, both from Amplify console and the CLI and have had no success. The CLI (generate-access-logs) returns a result of:

```An error occurred (InternalServerErrorException) when calling the GenerateAccessLogs operation (reached max retries: 2): Endpoint request timed out```

I've tried lowering the time scale of the log request to as low as one minute in the past, and still get errors.
