Description

After the recent influx of AI spam, which was appropriately taken down by github now after I filed many reports, we may have to deal in the future also with requests of adding code / projects to this list that are AI generated / vibe coded.

One of the examples was this here...
https://github.com/awesome-lists/awesome-bash/pull/149

If this gains more than 100 stars at some point, the current contribution guidelines would not let us easily reject this anymore.

The "Journal of Open Source Software" recently adopted the following policy - which is overkill for this small link collection here - but we should think about something along these lines:

> Whether or not you use AI assistance in your development, submissions should demonstrate the irreplaceable human contributions: problem framing, key design decisions, thoughtful architectural choices, and practices that make software usable and sustainable for others.

Research direction

Review the current contribution guidelines and the example PR linked in the issue, then compare them with the quoted Journal of Open Source Software policy. Done means the project has an agreed, documented position on AI-generated contributions and the relevant contributor guidance reflects it.
