Rewrite description of projects and review deployment options

Split off from #3.

Review and clean up project entries:

- Double check current deployment options for each project; remove "Other" as a platform where it is used
- Rewrite descriptions where needed:
- Remove mentions such as "open-source" (redundant in this context)
- Correctly align mentions such as "fork of" or "alternative to" with our standardized format (see [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/awesome-foss/awesome-sysadmin-data/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#other-guidelines))

Start by reading the Other Guidelines in CONTRIBUTING.md, then review the project entries covered by this issue and check each deployment option against current information. Remove unsupported “Other” platforms and update descriptions to follow the stated wording and formatting rules; done means every affected entry is reviewed and standardized.
