Unclear how this application is supposed to work.

There are two networky-looking icons that presumably have something to do with peer-to-peer collaboration but I can't tell what they are supposed to do or how to use them. Nor can I understand the inbox icon. The little blue up/down arrows have no obvious function. The UI doesn't make the document structure very clear, either.

I was hoping to get some sense of how well the library works and how an app built on it would behave, but I'm lost.

One specific question I had was how undo interacts with live collaboration but I couldn't even get close to answering that.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. First reproduce the unclear UI in the example application and trace the peer-to-peer, inbox, arrow, document-structure, and undo/live-collaboration flows. Done means a newcomer can tell what each control does and understand how undo behaves during collaboration.
