Description
How is everyone else handling this situation? Absolute domains are technically correct but letsencrypt rejects them. I'm considering just rewriting them in nginx.

Research direction
Start by reproducing authorization creation with an absolute DNS name ending in a period and trace how lua-resty-auto-ssl passes that name to Let's Encrypt. Review the nginx rewrite possibility described in the issue, then define and verify the expected handling for these names.
