Description

So, one of my friends did not notice yet that there has been a change in the app and that he needs to accept the new automatic handshake procedure with the Google/Apple framework. But: Users should somehow be informed on the changes of new app versions. So if the user needs to perform steps in order for the app to work again after an update, please write this in nice, full sentences into the change log message of the play store.

Just an example, the latest message is: "Absturz bei Update behoben"

This new improved changelog message then could be used for multiple versions (instead of the typical "bug fixes" message that no user cares about).

The user could additionally be notified by a notification if they need to perform an action in order for the app to function properly again.

Research direction

The issue does not name any files, tests, or implementation entry point. Clarify the expected Play Store changelog scope and when an in-app notification is required, then locate the mobile release and notification workflow. Done means users receive clear update guidance when action is needed, with the revised changelog wording published for affected versions.
