Since it doesn't seem like JetBrains is going to natively support Aurelia soon ([see this feature request](https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-15554)) and the only [available plugin](https://plugins.jetbrains.com/idea/plugin/8567-aureliastorm) doesn't seem to be [maintained anymore](https://github.com/denofevil/AureliaStorm/issues/25) I'd really love to see some official plugin from the Aurelia team like the one for [VS Code](https://github.com/aurelia/vscode-extension).

I really believe that there are many people who'd also appreciate a decent plugin which supports some basic code completion, highlighting & code refactoring for the Aurelia views (again, see the [YouTrack issue](https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-15554)).

I just started using Aurelia extensively and I initially even considered moving from PhpStorm to VS Code for its better Aurelia support. "Unfortunately" I wasn't able to actually perform the change due to some missing features that I use a lot...

Start by reviewing the linked aurelia/vscode-extension project and the referenced JetBrains YouTrack request to understand the existing Aurelia editor support. Define the JetBrains plugin's scope before implementation, including completion, highlighting, and refactoring for Aurelia views; the issue does not identify files or tests.
