Description

Describe the need of your project

I am looking at something similar to QT Web Engine , nothing urgent it can be looked at post 2027.

Proposed solution

I am looking at something which is lightweight, not a complete Chromium bloat like QT:

  • Use JSCore as Java Script Engine
  • Webkit for Rendering Web Pages

I am willing to volunteer for it, just need a Webkit/JSCore Wrapper if you like the idea.

Alternatives you've considered

I have considered platform specific webview as Solution but What about embedded system running AUI?

Research direction

The issue mentions JSCore and WebKit but identifies no repository files, tests, or entry points to inspect. Start by surveying the AUI architecture and platform-specific webview alternatives; done would require an agreed lightweight embedding and scripting design, implementation scope, and validation criteria.
