Description
Running the npx command for Claude Desktop on MacOS seems to lock me into a C: directory that does not exist on my system. Assume this is because its using docker somehow?
Will this MCP server not work on anything but Windows, or is it some kind of custom command I can use to point it to my own directories?
Couldn't find anything relevant in the docs.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the npx command from Claude Desktop on macOS and inspect the existing documentation for working-directory or directory configuration guidance. Document whether macOS is supported, why a C: directory appears, and how users can point the server at their own directories; done means the platform behavior and configuration are clear.
