Nothing happens when trying to run python inputs on Mac

Description
I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) with OSx 10.11.3
I installed script and run atom from terminal (with sudo just to be sure that wasn't the problem) but I can't get python files to run.
I tried with php and it works fine.
I do have python installed on my Mac.
I searched though the issues but I can't find anyone having the same problem.
EDIT: I just realised that all the files i tried so far have and input in them. Without input works fine.
