Cant run rust files

I was using script for coding in python for a while but I recently have started to learning rust. I installed the language-rust package but when I run the script I got and error saying _"Selection Based runner not available for Rust"_

So I do a little reading and it says I have to add rustc to PATH as well and I was just wondering how I could do that?

I am using Mac OS X
