Adding Spim to system environment variable?

Sorry to issue this as a bug request, but I could not find a way to ask questions otherwise. How do we add spim to the system environment variable, and where can we find the spim for command line on windows 10? I tried qtspim and pcspim, neither run as command line, and spimdos.exe will not run on windows 10 since it is an older file for win 16 bit. How do I add the version of spim I need to make this function in Atom?
