Atom Script Package not running simple code

I'm learning Python and really like Atom. I downloaded the Script package so I could run the code. I made a simple code just asking for a couple inputs then displaying them. It runs fine if I run it through Python but in Atom I just get a loading hourglass. I'm not sure what I can do to fix this so it will run in Atom.

Reproduce the reported Python script in Atom using the Script package, comparing it with running the same code through Python. Check how the package handles scripts that wait for input and determine whether the loading hourglass clears; done when the example runs and displays both inputs in Atom, or the limitation is documented.
