Provide alternative (e.g. docs) for astroquery.vo_conesearch

There is a long-term desire to deprecate and remove the `vo_conesearch` module from astroquery as it logically fits better into the pyvo user experience/user persona. Would it be possible from the pyvo side to provide an alternative workflow that we can link to / replace our current docs while in deprecation?
(Note: this is a very long lived module that got moved out from astropy core years ago and landed in astroquery, therefore we need to deprecate it (possibly for a long period) rather than remove it straight away. We have no idea of the user base or how wide spread the usage is, but given that we hardly ever receive any bug reports or feature requests for it, I suspect it's not very high).
