Description

Hey there!

First off: nice application! Would I have known sooner that there exists something like this, I would've tried sooner.

I am missing/searching one feature: I'd like to define certain minimum sizes per application, so that when I resize other applications, I cannot make those bigger than what the other application needs minimally.

For example, Spotify has quite a huge minimum size. When I resize other applications around it, Spotify does jump out of the layout after a certain size.
Because of that I would like to set a specific minimum size in px/%/... (and maybe maximum size for other use cases?), after that I cannot make other surrounding applications bigger anymore.

Is there an option to do this? Is this feasable to implement? Quite many applications have some minimum size, I'd like to configure that, so that the tiling experience is a bit less buggy :)

Greetings

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by locating yabai's configuration handling and window-resizing logic, then determine how per-application minimum and maximum sizes could be represented. Done means the requested limits can be configured for specific applications and are respected during tiling and resizing.
