Feature: Julia support

From https://discourse.julialang.org/t/pythons-replace-faster-than-julias-replace/63180 we can see some users are finding julia's string processing speed unsatisfactory. So maybe worth adding julia support. Is there existing `replace` function that' s fast or should it be written using other functions?
